I had been planning to visit Russia for a very long time, but I was always put off by the thought ofd having to apply for a visa. Luckily for me I happened to bump into a guy I hadn’t seen for years, and hc had just come back from Moscow. I obviously didn’t know the country, and I was a bit worried about going there on my own, but looking at the internet it appeared that there were lots of tours you could book yourself onto. I had always wanted to do some petersburg sightseeing and I found a tour guide who would take me around all of the best bits.

The more I searched about Russia, the more amazed I became. I had watched with amazement when the Space race was going on between Russia and America, and now I found that I would be able to take part in space flight training! The thought of being suspended in a weightless state was so exciting and I immediately booked this online before I could chicken out!

From a chance encounter in a pub, I am now heading to Russia in only a matter of months – that’s the most valuable drink I have ever bought!

Although, not a real hotel, as you need to make your own food, and there is no room service, these unusual 16ft diameter rooms make a very unique place to get away from it all.

If you’d rather surround yourself in opulence, then there is the Crazy Bear Hotel near Beaconsfield. Here, luxury, splendour and design come together in a celebration of all things grand. Each room is as dramatic as the last being a sensory overload of leather, hand-carved wood, French Porcelain, gilt mirrors and gold leaf. As is the main bar with its Italian jade marble floor and gloss polished walnut & copper bar.

London, the home of the Stag do.

If you ask people in England where the best place is to have a stag do, the most common answer will undoubtedly be London. Because it is the capital city, it is the one place that most people can get to easily, no matter where they are based in the country.
